New Instagram Feature

The latest Instagram Features and News

Instagram introduced a handful of Reels features, including a new 90-second length (up from 60 seconds), the ability to import your own audio, and access to interactive stickers.

Perhaps most exciting, though, is new grid pinning. The function, lets users pin up to three photos or videos to the top of their profile. Simply tap the three dots next to your favorite posts to put them front and center on your grid.

Grid Pinning

Instagram has started testing a new feature that allows users to pin certain pics on their profiles.

If your account has the feature, you should see a Pin to your profile option when you tap the three dots on the top right of a photo. It’ll then appear on your grid with a pin icon. Tap the three dots again and select Unpin from your profile to remove it.

You are able to pin up to 3 posts to the top of your grid.

What Instagram Posts to Pin

  • Look for the most engaging content first.
  • Have a look at your Instagram Account Insights to determine which posts that would be.
  • Make sure the pinned posts represent your brand or business in the best possible light. Some times the most engaging content isn’t always the most valuable content for your brand, so its up to you to make that distinction what will be best for your business.
